Wy 13 pow 64 <br />deliver a certifiecopy of this resolution to 'the Lee County <br />Board of Elections within three days after the resolution is <br />adopted. <br />Commissioner Stafford seconded the motion and the motion <br />was adopted by the following vote: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Board then observed a short recess. Following the <br />recess, the Board convened with all members present. <br />The Board next considered the following tax matters: <br />A. A request for a refund of $800.00: <br />Mr. Nathan Crissman, Tax Administrator was recognized. Mr. <br />Crissman reported that in June of 1985 the Tax Office foreclosed <br />and offered for sale for the 1983 taxes, a 1 2/10 acre tract <br />located on Tempting Church Road; at which time there were no <br />bids made and the County acquired ownership. On September 5, <br />1989 the County held a Land Surplus Sale where said tract was <br />purchased by Sherry Womack in the amount of $800.00. Ms. <br />Womack's attorney researched the tract and found that remainder <br />parties were involved and, therefore, the sale is not valid. In <br />order to docket judgment, deeds must be recorded placing <br />property ownership back to the original owner. Commissioner <br />Stafford moved to authorize the $800 refund. Commissioner <br />Dossenbach seconded the motion and upon a vote the results were <br />as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion carried unanimously. <br />B. Request to set a date for the first meeting of the <br />Board of Equalization and Review: <br />The Board agreed to the following dates for the Board of <br />Equalization and Review. <br />April 9 <br />6:00 P. M. to 9:00 P.M. <br />April 10 <br />1:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. <br />April 11 <br />1:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. <br />C.
