MIN'El'TES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING <br />OF <br />THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FOR <br />THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br />Tuesday, May 15, 1990 <br /> <br />The special meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the <br />County of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened in the <br />Commissioners' Room on the second floor of the County Office <br />Building, 200 Wicker Street, Sanford, North Carolina, at 2:00 <br />o'clock P. M., May 15, 1990, the same being the time, date and <br />place specified in the call issued by the Chairman. Those <br />J present were Commissioners Albert L. Cox, John R. Dossenbach, <br />Jr. Bertha L. Matthews, William C. Stafford, Jr. and Gordon <br />A. Wicker. Chairman Wicker declared a quorum present and the <br />meeting open for the transaction of business. <br />Chairman Gordon A. Wicker presided and the following <br />business was transacted: <br />Commissioner Stafford moved that the Board go into <br />executive session to discuss legal matters. Commissioner <br />Matthews seconded the motion and upon a vote the results were <br />as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion carried unanimously and the <br />Board was in executive session. <br />Commissioner Cox moved that the executive session be <br />closed. Commissioner Matthews seconded the motion and upon a <br />vote the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been unanimously <br />adopted and the Board resumed its regular meeting. <br />There being no further business to come before this <br />session, Commissioner Stafford moved to adjourn. Commissioner <br />Matthews seconded the motion and upon a vote the results were <br />as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been unanimously <br />adopted and the meeting adjourned. <br />1 <br />
