MIN'El'TES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA Tuesday, May 15, 1990 The special meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened in the Commissioners' Room on the second floor of the County Office Building, 200 Wicker Street, Sanford, North Carolina, at 2:00 o'clock P. M., May 15, 1990, the same being the time, date and place specified in the call issued by the Chairman. Those J present were Commissioners Albert L. Cox, John R. Dossenbach, Jr. Bertha L. Matthews, William C. Stafford, Jr. and Gordon A. Wicker. Chairman Wicker declared a quorum present and the meeting open for the transaction of business. Chairman Gordon A. Wicker presided and the following business was transacted: Commissioner Stafford moved that the Board go into executive session to discuss legal matters. Commissioner Matthews seconded the motion and upon a vote the results were as follows: Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford and Wicker Nay: None The Chairman ruled the motion carried unanimously and the Board was in executive session. Commissioner Cox moved that the executive session be closed. Commissioner Matthews seconded the motion and upon a vote the results were as follows: Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford and Wicker Nay: None The Chairman ruled the motion had been unanimously adopted and the Board resumed its regular meeting. There being no further business to come before this session, Commissioner Stafford moved to adjourn. Commissioner Matthews seconded the motion and upon a vote the results were as follows: Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford and Wicker Nay: None The Chairman ruled the motion had been unanimously adopted and the meeting adjourned. 1
