Aye: Cox, Do nbach, Matthews, Stafford nd Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion carried unanimously. <br />The County Manager then reported on a Budget Amendment for <br />the Greenwood School Project. He advised that this is a legal <br />requirement. Any time the Board of Education appropriates money <br />in its Capital Fund it has to be ratified or approved by the <br />Board of Commissioners. This $707,617.54 is the amount of money <br />that we have given towards that project over and above the <br />original budget this year. This has come about because of the <br />transfer of funds from the Civic Center Project to the Public <br />Schools Project. Copy of this Budget Amendment is attached to <br />these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach moved that the Budget Amendment be <br />approved. Commissioner Matthews seconded the motion and upon a <br />vote the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion carried unanimously. <br />Commissioner Stafford was recognized and advised one Board <br />Member's term is expiring on the Lee-Harnett Mental Health <br />Board. Under the regulations of this Board, two Commissioners, <br />one from Harnett County and one from Lee County have the <br />authority to appoint members. Commissioner Stafford moved to <br />re-appoint Mr. Bill Wilson, who serves as Finance Chairman, <br />to serve another four years on the Lee-Harnett Mental Health <br />Board. Commissioner Cox seconded the motion and upon a vote the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford and Wicker. <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion carried unanimously. <br />The County Manager advised that Mr. Barefoot, the County <br />Planner was at another meeting and asked him to present a <br />Subdivision Plat for Mr. Bill Bridges. The property is located <br />on Riddle Road in the East Sanford Township. Lots one and two <br />were approved as a minor subdivision in February 1990. City <br />water and individual septic tanks are proposed for use on each <br />lot. Each lot is over five acres in size and has public road <br />frontage on Riddle Road. The Planning Board has reviewed the <br />plan and recommends its approval to the Board of Commissioners. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach moved to approve the Subdivision <br />Plat for Mr. Bridges. Commissioner Cox seconded the motion and <br />upon a vote the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford and Wicker <br />5 <br />
