® rocs 13 rrr=_ 244 0 <br />(a) Principal use identification: Signs not exceeding two (2) square feet in <br />area, not illuminated and employing no moving parts. <br />(b) Signs erected by a governmental agency to regulate, control, or direct <br />vehicular or pedestrian traffic, including signs indicating bus stops, taxi <br />stands, and similar transportation facilities. Such signs may be illu- <br />minated, flashing, or moving as required for the public safety. <br />(c) Signs required by law. <br />(d) Signs which warn of hazards to life and limb, such as high voltage elec- <br />trical equipment, explosives, and the like. Such signs may be illumi- <br />nated. <br />(e) "No Trespassing" signs, not exceeding four (4) square feet in area and <br />not illuminated. <br />(f) Signs erected by a governmental agency which convey information <br />regarding a public service or the location of a public facility. Such <br />signs may be illuminated. <br />(g) Temporary real estate signs advertising a specific property for sale, <br />lease, rent, or development, located on said property, provided that <br />such signs shall not exceed thirty-two (32) square feet in area, nor be <br />illuminated. Such signs shall not be placed nearer to the front pro- <br />perty line than five (5) feet. <br />(h) Permanent subdivision identification signs, not exceeding twelve (12) <br />square feet in area, not illuminated or indirectly illuminated. <br />(i) Church or public building bulletin boards and identification signs, not <br />exceeding twenty-five (25) square feet in area. One (1) per each street <br />front plus one (1) per each building on premises. Non-flashing or <br />indirect illumination is permitted. All signs must be motionless. <br />(j) Signs identifying the name or location of a church, even though such <br />signs may be remote from the location of the church, provided that such <br />signs shall not exceed four (4) square feet in area and provided that no <br />such sign shall be illuminated or contain moving parts. <br />(k) Temporary promotional or information signs, such as used prior to elec- <br />tions and to advertise yard sales. Such signs shall be removed within <br />five (5) days after the event promoted has taken place. <br />(1) Signs advertising agricultural products produced on the premises not <br />exceeding sixteen (16) square feet in area and provided such are not <br />illuminated. <br />(m) Signs identifying home occupations or offices located in the residence of <br />the practitioner. One (1) per lot not exceeding five (5) square feet in <br />area. <br />57 <br />
