suun lei ~au~ wi <br />another use at the same time except that required parking for places of <br />assembly may be assigned to parking spaces that are otherwise assigned <br />to other uses, provided that the parking spaces are normally used at <br />different times. <br />(e) All parking facilities shall be so designed that the required access to <br />public streets shall be by forward motion of vehicles exiting the parking <br />facility. <br />Section 6. Off-Street Loading Standards <br />Where off-street loading space is required under the district regulations <br />of a particular district, one (1) or more loading berths or other space shall <br />be provided for standing, loading, and unloading operations either inside or <br />outside a building and on the same or adjoining premises with every building <br />or structure erected after the enactment of this ordinance; all to be in <br />accordance with the requirements of the following table. A loading berth <br />shall have minimum plan dimensions of twelve (12) feet by sixty (60) feet and <br />fourteen (14) feet overhead clearance. A loading space need not be neces- <br />sarily a full berth but shall be sufficient to allow normal loading and unload- <br />ing operations of a kind and magnitude appropriate to the property served <br />thereby. The Zoning Administrator shall determine the sufficiency of loading <br />space, but in no case shall the use of such space hinder the free movement <br />of vehicles and pedestrians over a street, sidewalk, or alley. <br />The number of required off-street loading spaces shall be as follows. <br />(a) Retail business One (1) space for each twenty <br />thousand (20,000) square feet of <br />gross floor area, or fraction <br />thereof <br />(b) Wholesale trade and industries One (1) space for each twenty <br />thousand (20,000) square feet of <br />gross floor area, or fraction <br />thereof <br />(c) Office or institution, including <br />schools and government buildings . <br />One (i) space for each fifty <br />thousand (50,000) square feet of <br />gross floor area, or fraction <br />thereof <br />54 <br />
