MITES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF <br />THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FOR <br />THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />*:t,t**,t***********,t,t,t*,r,t,t,t,t,t**,t*****,t****,t ,t *,t ,t ,t*******,t ,t***,t* <br />Monday, June 18, 1990 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the <br />County of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened at 7:00 P.M. on <br />Monday, June 18, 1990, in the Commissioners' room on the second <br />floor of the County Office Building, 200 Wicker Street, Sanford, <br />North Carolina. Those present were: Commissioners Albert L. <br />Cox, John R. Dossenbach, Jr. Bertha L. Matthews, William.C. <br />Stafford, Jr. and Gordon A. Wicker. Chairman Wicker declared a <br />J quorum present and the meeting open for the transaction of <br />business. <br />Chairman Gordon A. Wicker presided and the following <br />business was transacted: <br />The invocation was given by County Attorney, K. R. Hoyle. <br />Commissioner Matthews moved that the Board proceed to hold a <br />public hearing on the budget for the Fiscal Year beginning July 1, <br />1990 and ending June 30, 1991. Commissioner Cox seconded the motion <br />and upon a vote the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been unanimously adopted and <br />the public hearing was open. <br />The Chairman opened the floor to all persons who wanted to <br />speak on the budget and no one appeared before the Board. <br />Commissioner Matthews moved that the public hearing be closed. <br />Commissioner Stafford seconded the motion, and upon a vote the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />Commissioner Cox moved that the Board proceed to hold a public <br />hearing on the Zoning Ordinance for Lee County. Commissioner <br />Stafford seconded the motion and upon a vote the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been unanimously adopted and <br />the public hearing was open. <br />1 <br />
