noon; 13:rs 25i <br />MINTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF <br />THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FOR <br />THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br />Monday, June 25, 1990 <br /> <br />The adjourned regular meeting of the Board of <br />J Commissioners for the County of Lee, State of North Carolina, <br />convened at 3:00 P.M. on Monday, June 25, 1990, in the <br />Commissioners' room on the second floor of the County Office <br />Building, 200 Wicker Street, Sanford, North Carolina, the same <br />being the time, date, and place specified in the motion of <br />adjournment. Those present were: Commissioners Albert L. Cox, <br />John R. Dossenbach, Jr. Bertha L. Matthews, William C. <br />Stafford, Jr. and Gordon A. Wicker. Chairman Wicker declared <br />a quorum present and the meeting open for the transaction of <br />business. <br />Chairman Gordon A. Wicker presided and the following <br />business was transacted: <br />The invocation was given by Chairman Wicker. <br />The Board first considered a Bond Order Authorizing The <br />Issuance of $650,000 School Bonds of the County of Lee. <br />Mr. K. R. Hoyle, County Attorney, presented the following <br />to the Board: <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the County of Lee <br />has received and considered a resolution from the Lee County <br />Board of Education including a request that the Board of <br />Commissioners provide additional school facilities in Lee <br />County; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners has caused to be filed <br />with the Secretary of the Local Government Commission of North <br />Carolina an application for Commission approval of the bonds <br />hereinafter described as required by The Local Government <br />Finance Act, and the Secretary of the Local Government <br />Commission has notified the Board that the application has been <br />filed and accepted for submission to the Local Government <br />Commission; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT ORDERED by the Board of Commissioners of the County <br />of Lee, as follows: <br />1 <br />
