Copies of the Sliding Fee Scale and the <br />Recommended Patient Fee Schedule are attached to these minutes <br />and by this reference made a part hereof. Commissioner Stafford <br />moved to authorize these scales as recommended by the Health <br />Board. Commissioner Matthews seconded the motion and upon a vote <br />the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion carried unanimously. <br />Commissioner Stafford moved adoption of the following <br />resolution concerning the secondary road construction program: <br />WHEREAS, the North Carolina Department of Transportation <br />anticipated a July 1990 allocation of $228,985 in Secondary <br />Construction and Secondary Road Trust Funds for the forthcoming <br />construction season and a public hearing was held on July 2, <br />1990. <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to retain $45,985 of the total <br />allocation for small projects that may arise during the year such <br />as road additions, property owner participation projects, <br />volunteer fire department drives, county wide surveys, <br />over drafts, etc. <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to utilize $183,000 to pave down <br />the Subdivision/Residential Priority List as far as possible <br />under funding and right of way constraints. Initial paving <br />projects anticipated: <br />PRIORITY 8 Grade, drain, base, pave & erosion control SR <br />1587 (Long Branch Road) from SR 1543 (Thomas Kelly Road) to DE - <br />0.30 mile Estimated Cost - $20,000 <br />PRIORITY 9 Grade, drain, base, pave & erosion control SR <br />1578 (Rabbit Ridge) from NC 42 to DE Estimated Cost - $20,000 <br />PRIORITY 10 Survey, R/W, grade, drain, base, pave & <br />erosion control SR 1304 (Foushee Road) from SR 1303 (Center <br />Church Road) to DE - 0.70 mile Estimated Cost - $45,000 <br />PRIORITY 11 Grade, drain, base, pave & provide erosion <br />control SR 1399 (Luann Street) from NC 42 to SR 1700 (Hope <br />Street) & SR 1700 from SR 1399 to DE - 0.37 mile Estimated Cost <br />- $25,000. <br />PRIORITY 12 Survey, R/W grade, drain, base, pave & provide <br />erosion control SR 1200 (Murchison Road) from SR 1169 (Olivia <br />Road) to DE - 0.20 mile Estimated Cost - $19,000 <br />PRIORITY 13 Grade, drain, base, pave & provide erosion <br />control SR 1215 (Hunter Road) from SR 1161 (Smith road) to SR <br />5 <br />
