Boos 13 ~n'E t~') i1 <br />The Chairman uled the motion carried unanimously and the <br />Board was in executive session. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach moved that the executive session be <br />closed. Commissioner Cox seconded the motion and upon a <br />vote the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been unanimously adopted <br />and the Board had resumed its regular meeting. <br />Commissioner Cox made a motion to accept the recommendation <br />of Hayes-Howell of a 20 day extension for New South Construction <br />on the Community Resource Center project. Commissioner Stafford <br />seconded the motion and upon a vote the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Matthews, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: Dossenbach <br />The Chairman ruled the motion carried by a 4 to 1 vote. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach stated for the record that he <br />wanted to send a message to the contractor to let him know that <br />we are not going to put up with any more delays on this project. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach moved to accept the recommendation <br />of the Personnel Board in the Harvey Godfrey matter. <br />Commissioner Cox seconded the motion. Commissioner Stafford <br />asked for further discussion in executive session. Commissioner <br />Dossenbach withdrew his motion and commissioner Cox withdrew his <br />second. Commissioner Stafford moved to re-enter the executive <br />session. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Matthews <br />and was unanimously adopted. <br />Commissioner Stafford moved that the executive session be <br />closed. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Cox and was <br />unanimously adopted and the Board resumed its regular meeting. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach stated for the record, and asked <br />the County Manager to express to the Personnel Board that the <br />Commissioners are pleased with the work, time and effort that the <br />Personnel Board put into this matter. These are non paid people <br />and they have done a super job and we appreciate the time and <br />effort they spent in coming to their decision. Commissioner <br />Dossenbach moved that the Board uphold the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Board in the Harvey Godfrey matter. Commissioner Cox <br />seconded the motion and upon a vote the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion carried unanimously. <br />7 <br />
