oo~ 13 PfQ 3 <br />Board of Commissio rs to publish as prescribed by The Local <br />Government Bond Act the bond order entitled, "Bond Order <br />Authorizing the Issuance of $650,000 School Bonds of the County <br />of Lee", introduced at the meeting of the Board of Commissioners <br />held on June 25, 1990. The motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Cox and was adopted by the following vote: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion carried unanimously. <br />The draft of the minutes for the regular meeting held on <br />June 18th, the adjourned regular meeting held on June 25th and <br />the regular meeting held on July 2, 1990 were reviewed and <br />corrected. After the minutes had been corrected, Commissioner <br />Cox moved that the draft of the minutes be adopted as the <br />official minutes for said meetings and that they be recorded. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach seconded the motion and upon a vote the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford and Wicker. <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion carried unanimously. <br />Mrs. Deborah Davidson of the Department for the Aging <br />appeared before the Board and presented the FY 1990/91 <br />application for the DOT Elderly and Handicapped Transportation <br />Assistance Program. Mrs. Davidson explained that this is the <br />second year Lee County has participated in this program. Local <br />matching funds are not required. The total amount Lee County <br />will receive for this fiscal year is $18,963. Commissioner <br />Stafford moved that the application be approved. Commissioner <br />Cox seconded the motion and upon a vote the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Nathan Crissman, Tax Administrator, was recognized and <br />presented a bid for property. The County purchased the property <br />last year at a tax sale for $3,166.93. The bid received is for <br />$3,200.00. Mr. Hoyle, County Attorney explained the procedure <br />is to declare this property surplus and give the public notice <br />that a bid has been received and that the County proposes to <br />sell the property unless someone raises the bid. <br />Commissioner Cox moved for adoption of the following <br />Resolution: <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the County of Lee <br />desires to dispose of certain surplus property of the County. <br />2 <br />
