0 ~Tj) 13 ptcA 31 <br />building inspection program in Lee County, as amended allows the <br />Board of County Commissioners for Lee County to establish fees <br />as necessary, and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners for Lee County <br />has reviewed the operation of the inspections program and the <br />revenues generated by that program, and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners for Lee County <br />deems it necessary and appropriate to revise fees charged for <br />inspections services in Lee County, <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the fees charged for <br />building permits and other inspections services be revised in <br />accordance to the attached document and that the effective date <br />of revision be 12:01 a.m. August 21, 1990. <br />Commissioner Cox seconded the motion and upon a vote the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the resolution carried unanimously. <br />The Board next considered the draft of the minutes of the <br />August 6, 1990 Regular Meeting. Commissioner Stafford moved <br />that the draft of the minutes be adopted as the official minutes <br />for said meeting and that they be recorded. Commissioner <br />Dossenbach seconded the motion and upon a vote the results were <br />as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion carried unanimously. <br />Ms. Osa Palmer, Chairman, Senior Citizens Advisory Board <br />was recognized. Ms. Palmer advised that in December of last <br />year, correspondence was received from Region J concerning a <br />mandate from the NC General Assembly to the Division of Aging to <br />submit a State Aging Plan every two years beginning in March of <br />1991. This plan is to be built on the needs and service <br />priorities expressed by the 100 counties. The first plan is to <br />target services for the frail, older population through enhanced <br />in-home and community based care. In March of this year the Lee <br />County Committee on Home and Community Care was formed. This <br />Committee determined three areas which represent the most <br />important service needs in Lee County that should be funded in <br />the State Plan: <br />1. Caregiver Support Services (i.e. respite services, <br />chore, in-home aides). <br />2. Case Management (client screening, assessment, care <br />5 <br />
