Commissioner Dossenbach seconded the <br />motion and upon a vote the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion carried unanimously. <br />Commissioner Stafford moved that the tax books for the <br />fiscal year beginning July 1, 1990, be delivered to the Tax <br />Collector and that the Board issue the Order of Collection as <br />follows: <br />TO THE TAX COLLECTOR OF THE COUNTY OF LEE: You are hereby <br />authorized, empowered, and commanded to collect the taxes <br />set forth in the tax records filed in the office of the Tax <br />Assessor and in the tax receipts herewith delivered to you, <br />in the amounts and from the taxpayers likewise therein set <br />forth. Such taxes are hereby declared to be a first lien <br />upon all real property of the respective taxpayers in the <br />County of Lee, and this order shall be a full and <br />sufficient authority to direct, require, and enable you to <br />levy on and sell any real or personal property of such <br />taxpayers, for on account thereof, in accordance with law. <br />Commissioner Cox seconded the motion and upon a vote the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been unanimously <br />adopted. <br />Mrs. Pam Adams, Director of the Department for the Aging, <br />appeared before the Board and requested an amendment to the FY <br />90 Aging Contract for congregate nutrition service. Mrs. Adams <br />explained that when they bid on their Aging money each year, <br />they must bid on the entire amount of nutrition money. They <br />never provide 32,000 meals in congregate nutrition they usually <br />provide around 30,000 each year.
