Dr. Jennings is our contact for Enviro nmental/Water Quaity issues. Here is his response <br />and recommendation: <br />The NC DENR Raleigh Regional Office will regulate all aspects of environmental quality: <br />http: / /portal.ncdenr.0rglweb /wo /home /ro/ rrc <br />They will answer all questions about permitting and monitoring requirements. The industry is responsible for complying <br />with all federal and state regulations, including environmental and worker safety. Generally, the company is expected to <br />self- monitor and self -report all aspects of compliance. Plank Road from LI -CU district to South Plank <br />Rd LLC Conditional Zoning district. The change of use will include above ground storage tanks that will store diesel fuel <br />for emergency generators. The process includes sampling the fuel, treating it with inhibitor, removing water from the tank <br />and filtering the fuel when necessary. All work is done at the customers' locations. In the process of the work residual <br />water /fuel mixture is collected as well as used filters. The residual water /fuel mixture is brought back to the warehouse <br />where it will be consolidated into totes for collection by an authorized used oil collector. Filters are also brought back to <br />the warehouse to be crushed, drained and collected by an authorized used filter recycler. The warehouse is used for <br />
