'lt /l3 (ID k66s '13 UNITED STATES OF AMERICA FEDERAL AVIATION ADP•IINISTRATION Page 1 of 3 Pages Contract No. DTFA 06-88-A-^80114 Sanford-Lee County Airport Location: Sanford, North Carolina Al== N0. 1 - TO GRANT AGREEMENT FOR PROJECT NO. 3-37-0065-05 VA RFAS, the Federal Aviation Administration (hereinafter referred to as the FAA) has determined it to be in the interest of the United States that the grant agreement between the FAA, acting for and on behalf of the United States, and Lee County and the City of Sanford (hereinafter referred to as the Co-Sponsors), accepted by said Cc-Sponsors on the 1st day of August 1988, be amended as hereinafter provided. NWI THEREFORE WITNESSETH: That, in consideration of the benefits to accrue to the parties hereto, the FAA on behalf of the United States, on the one part, and the Co-Sponsors, on the other part, do hereby mutually agree that the tens and conditions of the grant agreement between the United States and the Co-Sponsors, accepted by said Co-Sponsors on the 1st day of August 1988, be amended: Standard Condition No. 1 on page 2 of the grant which reads: 1. The maxinur obligation of the United States payable under this offer shall be $142,539. For the purposes of any future grant amendnents which may increase the foregoing maxiirnmi obligation of the United States under the provisions of Section 512(b) of the Act, the following amounts are being specified for this purpose: $ for planning $142,539 for airport development or noise program implementation is hereby revised and reads as follows: 1. The rra%imzr obligation of the United States payable under this offer shall be $161,836. For the purposes of any future grant amendments which may increase the foregoing maximum obligation of the United States under the provisions of Section 512(b) of the Act, the following amounts are being specified for this purpose: $ for planning $161,836 for airport development or noise program implementation
