+OOv I S '1,~~ doi~ <br />Carolina School Boards Association County Commissioners Award. <br />The Board directed the County Manager to write a letter of of <br />appreciation to Mr. Hunter. <br />The County Manager reported that Mr. Crissman had passed <br />the Assessor's Certification School and is now a certified <br />Assessor. <br />Commissioner Matthews moved to proclaim Saturday, September <br />22, 1990 as Hunting and Fishing Day in Lee County and to call <br />upon all citizens to join with sportsmen-conservationists in <br />their efforts to ensure the wise use and proper management of <br />our natural resources to benefit future generations. <br />Commissioner Stafford seconded the motion and upon a vote the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />Commissioner Stafford moved to enter an executive session <br />to discuss contractual, legal and personnel matters. <br />Commissioner Cox seconded the motion and upon a vote the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Vice Chairman ruled the motion carried unanimously and <br />the Board was in executive session. <br />Commissioner Cox moved that the executive session be <br />closed. Commissioner Stafford seconded the motion and upon a <br />vote the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Vice Chairman ruled the motion had been unanimously <br />adopted and the Board resumed its regular meeting. <br />Commissioner Cox moved to approve the Amendment to the <br />Agreement with the City of Sanford. (Copy attached to these <br />Minutes and by this reference made a part hereof). Commissioner <br />Stafford seconded the motion and upon a vote the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews and Stafford <br />Nay: Wicker <br />The Vice Chairman ruled the motion carried by a vote of 4 <br />to 1. <br />Commissioner Stafford moved that in Reference to Section <br />5.8 of the Contract with New South Construction, the owner the <br />Lee County Board of Commissioners objects to the reduction of <br />7 <br />
