371 <br />8. The -County shall be permitted to transfer water <br />from Tramway to the Golden Poultry plant through the above <br />referenced lines specified herein in an emergency when water is not <br />available from the Cumnock water plant, or the City of Sanford <br />water plant, and City has been notified 24 hours in advance of the <br />County's intent to transfer its water from Tramway to the Golden <br />Poultry plant at Cumnock. The City will make its surplus water <br />available to the County as a backup to the Cumnock water plant. <br />Meters will be installed by the City at the two <br />lift stations to measure the transfer of water by the County from <br />Cumnock to Tramway through the above referenced lines. <br />9. County agrees to pay City its usual outside rate <br />for all water sold and delivered pursuant to this agreement, <br />subject to changes in said rate as, hereinafter, set forth. <br />lo. City will bill the County monthly for the actual <br />amount of water sold and delivered to it at the then applicable <br />rate. <br />11. City agrees to install, operate, and maintain, at <br />the point of delivery the metering equipment necessary to <br />accurately measure the water sold and delivered to County; and <br />upon the written request of County, the City will calibrate the <br />metering equipment once in every twelve (12) month period. If <br />such calibration does not register an error of more than two per <br />cent (2%) above or below the test reading, the meter shall be <br />deeded to be accurate.
