375 <br />level of 534 feet above sea level for a twelve inch main supply <br />at the point of delivery, subject to reductions or failures of <br />pressure of supply due to main supply line breaks, power <br />failures, floods, fire and the use of water to fight fire, <br />earthquakes and other causes beyond the City's control for such <br />reasonable period of time as may be necessary to restore normal <br />service. <br />2. City agrees to make application to the North <br />Carolina Department of Health for an increase in its allowable <br />filtration rate at the City's Water Plant. The City agrees to <br />assist the County with designing and installing the necessary <br />equipment to supply 800,000 gallons of water per day to the <br />Golden Poultry plant near the village of Cumnock, North Carolina. <br />Upon request of the County and approval of the <br />City, the City agrees to provide water to the County for use at <br />the Golden Poultry plant upon the terms and conditions herein <br />contained. <br />3. City agrees to pay for the cost of installing the <br />necessary pumps and related equipment to enable the City to <br />provide the County with water for use at the Golden Poultry <br />plant, and to expedite the installation of the equipment so as to <br />avoid any interruption of the County's water service to Golden <br />Poultry. <br />4. City shall own and maintain the Cool Springs Road <br />(SR 1326) waterline from US 421 to Valley Road (SR 1325) and will <br />reimburse the County for all costs incurred in building the line. <br />
