WHEREAS, the NCACC proposal is being pushed for adoption without sufficient study <br />or knowledge of the impact or appropriations in statewide tax policy and structure, or its <br />• impact on local governments; and <br />WHEREAS, the NCACC proposal would result in an overall tax increase for Lee <br />County; and <br />is <br />WHEREAS, Lee County is adamantly opposed to the NCACC Medicaid Relief Task <br />Force proposal as set forth above. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lee County Board of Commissioners <br />opposes the NCACC Medicaid Relief Task Force Proposal; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Lee County Board of Commissioners requests <br />that other options be pursued to grant counties relief from the State's Medicaid burden. <br />LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />Herbert A.
