That these policies shall be a part of the request for <br />proposals for any such contract, and noncompliance by any <br />single prime bidder shall be grounds for declaring the bid <br />non-responsive. <br />10. That this resolution shall become effective upon its adoption. <br />Commissioner Stafford seconded the motion and upon a vote <br />the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the resolution was unanimously adopted. <br />The Board next considered the draft of the minutes of the <br />Regular Meeting of October 1, 1990. Commissioner Cox moved that <br />the draft of the minutes be adopted as the official minutes for <br />said meeting and that they be recorded. Commissioner Stafford <br />seconded the motion and upon a vote the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />Mr. Bob Joyce, Director Economic Development, was <br />recognized and advised that the County has received a CDBG Grant <br />and a resolution is needed to accept the Grant and to authorize <br />the Chairman to sign documents in behalf of the County. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach moved for the adoption of the <br />following resolution: <br />WHEREAS, Lee County has submitted a Small Cities Community <br />Development Block Grant - Community Revitalization for funding <br />consideration, and <br />WHEREAS, Lee County has received from the North Carolina <br />Department of Economic and Community Development a Community <br />Revitalization Grant Number 90-C-8030. <br />THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Lee County Board of <br />County Commissioners: <br />1. Accepts the Small Cities Community Development Block <br />Grant - Community Revitalization as set forth in its <br />application. <br />2. Authorizes Gordon Wicker, Chairman to execute the Small <br />Cities Community Development Block Grant and associated <br />documents on behalf of Lee County. <br />6 <br />
