13 p..r,- q` 14 1 THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA FRIDAY, OCTOBER 19, 1990 The adjourned regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, October 19, 1990, in the Commissioners, room on the second floor of the County Office Building, 200 Wicker Street, Sanford, North Carolina, the same being the time, date, and place specified in the motion of adjournment. Those present were: Commissioners Albert L. Cox, John R. Dossenbach, Jr., Bertha L. Matthews, William C. Stafford, Jr., and Gordon A. Wicker. Chairman Wicker declared a quorum present and the meeting open for the transaction of business. Commissioner Cox moved to enter an executive session to discuss a personnel matter. Commissioner Stafford seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, and Wicker Nay: None The Chairman ruled the motion carried unanimously, and the Board was in executive session. Commissioner Cox moved that the executive session be closed. Commissioner Stafford seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, and Wicker Nay: None The Chairman ruled the motion had been unanimously adopted, and the Board resumed its regular meeting. Commissioner Dossenbach moved that the Board request the State Auditor to conduct a performance audit of the Social Services Department and to report their findings to the Board of Commissioners as soon as possible. Commissioner Stafford seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Stafford, and Wicker Nay: None The Chairman ruled the motion carried unanimously.
