0 'coos 13 a~, ~ 2 <br />to have access of what takes place in these meetings. <br />Commissioner Stafford advised the County Manager to request <br />that minutes of each committee meeting be recorded and sent <br />to the County Manager's office to be filed for the <br />Commissioners' information. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach moved to enter an executive <br />session to discuss contractual, legal and land acquisition <br />matters. Commissioner Stafford seconded the motion, and upon <br />a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Stafford, and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion carried unanimously, and <br />the Board was in executive session. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach moved that the executive <br />session be closed. Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and <br />upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Stafford, and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been unanimously <br />adopted, and the Board resumed its regular meeting. <br />County Attorney Hoyle presented the draft of the <br />consent order in the case of Ernest Griffin and Darrell <br />Verball, Et Al., Plaintiffs, vs. Lee County, Et Al., <br />Defendants, which is presently pending in the U. S. District <br />Court of the Middle District of North Carolina. The County <br />Attorney and Sheriff Bryant recommended the acceptance of the <br />terms of the consent judgement, a copy of which is attached <br />to these minutes, and by this reference, made a part thereof. <br />Commissioner Stafford moved that the terms of the consent <br />order be accepted and the County Attorney be authorized to <br />sign the consent agreement on behalf of Lee County. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach seconded the motion, and upon a vote, <br />the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Stafford, and Wicker <br />Nay: Cox <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been carried by a <br />three to one vote. <br />There being no further business to come before this <br />session, Commissioner Cox moved to adjourn. Commissioner <br />Stafford seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Stafford, and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />12 <br />
