WHEREAS, the Lee County Board of Commissioners have received information that <br />indicates that he manufacturers and wholesale distributors of controlled substances have <br />distributed in areas surrounding Lee County, North Carolina, may have violated Federal and/or <br />State laws and regulations that were enacted to prevent the diversion of legally produced <br />controlled substances into the illicit market. <br />NOW, THEREOFRE, BE IT RESOLVED the Lee County Board of Commissioners <br />declares the opioid crisis a public nuisance which must be abated for the benefit of Lee County's <br />citizens. <br />Dated this the 17111 day of QePmbe ( , 2018. <br />Amy M.
