F. <br />0 13 <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF <br />THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FOR <br />THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />Monday, January 7, 1991 <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the <br />County of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened at 9:30 A.M. on <br />Monday, January 7, 1991, in the Commissioners' Room on the <br />J second floor of the County Office Building, 200 Wicker Street, <br />Sanford, North Carolina. Those present were: Commissioners <br />Albert L. Cox, Bobby R. Hall, Bertha L. Matthews, Nathan E. <br />Paschal, Robert T. Reives, William C. Stafford, Jr., and Gordon <br />A. Wicker. Chairman Stafford declared a quorum present and the <br />meeting open for the transaction of business. <br />Chairman William C. Stafford, Jr., presided, and the <br />following business was transacted: <br />The invocation was given by County Attorney K. R. Hoyle. <br />Chairman Stafford assigned the following schedule for the <br />invocation: <br />January - <br />County Attorney K. R. Hoyle <br />February - <br />Commissioner <br />Paschal <br />March - <br />Commissioner <br />Matthews <br />April - <br />Commissioner <br />Cox <br />May - <br />Commissioner <br />Wicker <br />June - <br />Commissioner <br />Hall <br />July - <br />Commissioner <br />Reives <br />August - <br />County Manager William K. Cowan <br />The draft of the minutes for the regular meeting held on <br />December 17, 1990, was reviewed and corrected. After the <br />minutes had been corrected, Commissioner Cox moved that the <br />draft of the minutes be adopted as the official minutes for said <br />meeting and that they be recorded. Commissioner Reives seconded <br />the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Hall, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford, and <br />Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Leonard Barefoot, Director of Planning, was <br />recognized. He reported that the Planning Board recommended <br />that the Board of Commissioners approve the James 0. Russ <br />petition to change the zoning classification of 4.71 acres of <br />land located at 125 Petty Road from Residential Restricted <br />District to Residential Agricultural Conditional Use District <br />
