13 W8 <br />The Chairman ruled the resolution had be adopted <br />unanimously and the public hearing closed. <br />Commissioner Wicker moved that the Board of Commissioners <br />proceed to hold a public hearing on the petition by Beth <br />Williams and Mildred Thomas to rezone from Residential <br />Restricted District to Residential Agricultural Conditional Use <br />5.98 acres of land located on the southern side of Lower <br />Moncure Road at 710 and 712 Lower Moncure Road. Commissioner <br />Cox seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Hall, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford, and <br />Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman declared the resolution had been unanimously <br />adopted and the public hearing open. The Chairman asked the <br />members of the Planning Board to come forward and advised the <br />audience that they would answer any questions. The Chairman <br />opened the floor to all persons who wanted to speak on the <br />request. <br />Mrs. Beth Williams, petitioner, stated that she intends to <br />replace the existing manufactured home for a new single-wide <br />manufactured home at 710 Lower Moncure Road, which will be <br />underpinned. <br />After all persons desiring to be heard had been given an <br />opportunity to speak, Commissioner Hall moved that the public <br />hearing be closed. The motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Wicker and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Hall, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford, and <br />Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman declared the resolution had been unanimously <br />adopted and the public hearing closed. The Planning Board then <br />departed from the Commissioners' Room to conduct their <br />regularly scheduled meeting. <br />Chairman Stafford recognized Mr. Jack R. Dossenbach, Jr., <br />who informed the Commissioners that although he did not <br />formally tender his resignation from the Board of Social <br />Services upon his leaving the Board of Commissioners on <br />December 3, 1990, it was his thought and intent not to serve as <br />a member of the Board of Social Services, following former <br />Commissioners' traditions in similar situations. Mr. <br />Dossenbach stated that he would submit a letter of resignation <br />from the Board of Social Services to the Chairman effective <br />December 3, 1990. <br />The drafts of the minutes for the January 7, January 22, <br />and February 4, 1991, meetings were considered.
