Commissioner Paschal <br />seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Hall, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford, and <br />Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the resolution had been adopted <br />unanimously. <br />The Board next considered a contract amendment to transfer <br />funds from the Congregate Nutrition Program to the Home <br />Delivery Program. Commissioner Matthews moved to transfer <br />$1,407.00 from the Congregate Nutrition budget line to the Home <br />Delivery Meal budget line in the Fiscal Year 1990-91 federal <br />budget to allocate an additional 1,000 home delivered meals to <br />homebound citizens and to reduce the congregate meals by 691 <br />meals. Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a vote, <br />the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Hall, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford, and <br />Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the resolution had been adopted <br />unanimously. <br />The Chairman recognized Mr. Bob Joyce, Administrative <br />Services Director, who presented bids received for a contract <br />to provide administrative services in the Community Development <br />Block Grant. Bids were submitted from Skip Green and <br />Associates for $38,600.00 and from Hobbs, Upchurch and <br />Associates, P.A. for $38,600.00. Mr. Joyce recommended <br />awarding the contract to Skip Green and Associates, who drafted <br />the grant, and therefore, is very familiar with this project. <br />The administrative service fees for this project will be funded <br />by the $360,000.00 Community Development Block Grant awarded to <br />Lee County for the "Beulah Brown target area", also known as <br />Cameron Village located near the airport. Approximately <br />$7,000.00 will remain for administrative services from the <br />grant, which will be allocated to Lee County's Administrative <br />Services Department for secretarial support and mileage. <br />Commissioner Wicker moved to award a contract to Skip Green and <br />Associates for $38,600.00 to provide Community Development <br />Block Grant administrative services. Commissioner Cox seconded <br />the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Hall, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford, and <br />Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the resolution had been adopted <br />
