H <br />STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA, <br />COUNTY OF LEE <br />booK 13 ?rl 69.6 <br />MODIFICATION OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN OWNER AND ARCHITECT <br />This Modification Agreement, made and entered into <br />this 4th day of March 1991, by and between the County of <br />Lee, a body both politic and corporate of the State of North Carolina, <br />hereinafter called the OWNER and Mullins-Sherman Architects, a <br />partnership hereinafter called the ARCHITECT; <br />W I T N E S S E T H: <br />WHEREAS, Owner and Architect entered into an Agreement on <br />September 4, 1990, with respect to a project with a scope consisting of <br />renovation of the first floor of Lee County Government Center; and <br />WHEREAS, bids have been taken for the work and because of the <br />alternate selected and other changes in work, all of which is reflected <br />in Exhibit A attached hereto, the parties now desire to amend the <br />contract in the following respects: <br />(a) The budget figure of $825,000 is deleted and in lieu <br />thereof the figure of $1,142,964 is inserted; <br />(b) The project cost figure of $810,343 is deleted and in lieu <br />thereof the figure of $1,016,770 is inserted; <br />(c) The Architect's Basic Services figure of $64,800 is <br />deleted and in lieu thereof the figure of $81,342 is inserted. <br />Except as herein modified said contract remains in full force <br />and effect. <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the owner and the Architect have executed <br />this Modification to said Agreement, this the 27th day of <br />March , 1991. - <br />ARCHITECT <br />MULLINS ERNAN ARCHIT T <br />By: <br />Par er <br />OWNER <br />COUNTY OF LEE <br />By=_ <br />Chairman, Boa : o ss ers <br />Lee County, North Carolina <br />ATTE~5T: <br />derk <br />
