Eon 13 Ffu 740 Following some discussion, it was the general consensus of the Board that this project would be very worthwhile to Lee County. Chairman Stafford stated that this request for funds will be strongly considered in the deliberations of the 1991-1992 Fiscal Year Budget. The Board observed a brief recess. Following the recess, Assistant Planner Leisa Powell reported that the Planning Board unanimously recommended approval of the rezoning request submitted by Reginald Williams to rezone 46.11 acres of land located on the southern side of Cotten Road at 823 Cotten Road from Residential Restricted District to Residential Agricultural Conditional Use, in order to locate a new single-wide manufactured home on the property. Commissioner Paschal moved to adopt the Planning Board's recommendation to approve the rezoning request. Commissioner Matthews seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Cox, Matthews, Paschal, Stafford, Reives, and Wicker Nay: None The Chairman ruled the resolution had been adopted unanimously. Ms. Powell then reported that the Planning Board also unanimously recommended approval of the rezoning request submitted by Betty C. Carter to rezone 20.21 acres of land located on the western side of Highway 87 South at 3802 and 3810 Highway 87 South, in order to locate a new single-wide manufactured home on the property. Commissioner Cox moved to adopt the Planning Board's recommendation to approve the rezoning request. Chairman Stafford stated that in conjunction with Mr. Ronnie Martin's resignation as Director of Youth Services effective April 23, 1991, the Board may wish to consider studying the possibility of re-aligning some personnel in that Department and possibly not rehiring an individual for the position of director, if the County can continue to provide the same services. County Manager William K. Cowan stated that Assistant County Manager Beatrice Fields will serve as acting director of Youth Services until the Board directs otherwise. Following a brief discussion, it was the general consensus of the Board to re-evaluate the structure of the Youth Services Department before hiring an individual to replace Mr. Martin. 6
