The Tax Collector shall be credited with, all sums deposited by <br />him; releases duly allowed by the governing body; the principal amount of taxes <br />constituting liens on real property, personal property, and registered motor <br />vehicles. <br />2) Settlement of prior years (1998 through 2007) tax accounts and 2008 tax <br />accounts as of June 30, 2009, for Lee County and its municipalities, and annual <br />statement of collections for July 1, 2008, through June 30, 2009, of non -tax <br />revenues. <br />3) Settlement of Cape Fear, Cameron, Carolina Trace, Deep River, Lemon Springs, <br />Northview, Tramway, Pocket, West Sanford, and Airport Authority for 2008 and <br />applicable prior years. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the list of 2008 unpaid property <br />taxes and the list of persons not owning real property whose 2008 personal property taxes <br />remain unpaid are hereby acknowledged as received, the attached collection reports of <br />1998 through 2008, as of June 30, 2008, are acknowledged as received, and the efforts <br />made under the provisions of NCGS 105 -364 to collect taxes is acknowledged as received. <br />Adopted this 20 day of July 2009. <br />• ATTEST <br />0 <br />2 Gapne9 M.
