• If future funds allow, the proceeds will be used for Debt Service on <br />other K -14 Education Capital Projects as listed in the County's 2010- <br />2014 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP); <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Lee County Board of Commissioners <br />states that these funds are needed to reduce the increasing property tax burden on the <br />citizens of Lee County while addressing critical educational capital needs. The <br />Commissioners hereby instruct staff to prepare materials to educate the citizens of Lee <br />County on the need and purpose of the new ' /4 cent sales tax, the need to reconstruct <br />the Lee County High School, and the upcoming referendum and make said materials <br />available to the public. <br />Adopted this 17th day of August 2009, <br />LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />By <br />Richard B.
