The Board considered the appointment of a Vice Chairman for the upcoming year. Following a collection of the ballots, the vote was as follows: The following Commissioners voted for Commissioner Dodson to serve as Vice Chair for the upcoming year: Dalrymple, Dodson, Sharpe, Reives. The following Commissioners voted for Commissioner Smith: Knecht, Del Palazzo. The following Commissioner voted for Commissioner Del Palazzo: Smith. Ms. Parrish ruled the motion had carried 4:2:1 and Commissioner Dodson would serve as Vice Chairman for the upcoming year. Ms. Parrish presented a Resolution Setting the Meeting Schedule for the upcoming year. Commissioner Smith moved for the Board of Commissioners' meetings to be at 6:00 p.m. on the first and third Monday of the month in the Commissioners' Room. Commissioner Del Palazzo seconded the motion. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Dalrymple, Del Palazzo, Dodson, Knecht, Reives, Sharpe, Smith Nay: None Ms. Parrish ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. Ms. Parrish informed the Board that each year at the first meeting in December, the Board must approve official bonds for the following employees: Sheriff ($25,000) Register of Deeds ($50,000) Every other officer of the county who is required by law to give a bond for the faithful performance of his/her duties, which for our county includes the following: o Tax Administrator ($100,000) o Finance Officer ($100,000) o Any employee who handles $100.00 or more at anyone time Commissioner Sharpe moved to approve the bonds as presented. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Dalrymple, Del Palazzo, Dodson, Knecht, Reives, Sharpe, Smith Nay: None Ms. Parrish ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously.
