BRITT <br />REGISTER OF DEEDS <br />FILED Dec 19, 2018 <br />AT 03:55:02 pm <br />BOOK 00003 <br />START PAGE <br />0523 <br />END PAGE <br />0523 <br />INSTRUMENT # <br />07235 <br />EXCISE TAX <br />(None) <br />WHEREAS, Larry "Doc" Oldham was elected as a member of the Lee County Board of <br />Commissioners in December 2008 as an at -large representative and in 2014 as a <br />representative of District 4; and <br />WHEREAS, "Doc" Oldham served as Vice -Chairman of the Board of Commissioners in <br />2018 in addition to serving as Vice -Chairman from 2009-2011 during his previous term; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, "Doc" Oldham served in several leadership positions during his tenure, <br />including serving as a representative of the Commissioners on the Lee County Board of <br />Health, Downtown Sanford, Inc., Sanford Area Growth Alliance Board, Transportation <br />and Rural Planning Organization, and on the Interlocal Committee with the County, City <br />and Town of Broadway; and <br />WHEREAS, "Doc" Oldham has exemplified passion and dedication in his role as a <br />Commissioner and to the citizens of Lee County; and <br />WHEREAS, "Doc" Oldham has demonstrated a selfless commitment to public service <br />and to improving the quality of life for the citizens of Lee County. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Lee County Board of Commissioners <br />does hereby express its sincere appreciation to Larry "Doc" Oldham for his 8 years of <br />distinguished service as a Lee County Commissioner and extends to him their best <br />wishes in all his future endeavors. <br />Presented this 50+h day of M0V6Mbl&(_ 2018. <br />Tar � ... ♦ :{'j - <br />f Amy M.
