2010 - <br />0 The Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee, North Carolina met in a regular <br />meeting in the Commissioners' Room at the Lee County Government Center located at 106 <br />Hillcrest Drive in Sanford, North Carolina, the regular place of meeting, at 3:00 p.m. on May 3, <br />2010. <br />Present: Chairman Richard B. Haves, presiding, and Commissioners Amy Dalrymple, <br />Larry "Doc" Oldham, Nathan E. Paschal, James C. Kelly, Robert T. Reives <br />Linda A. Shook <br />Absent: Commissioners N/A <br />Also present: Cnnnty Manager John Crumnton, County Attorney K. R. Hoyl <br />0 Commissioner Kelly introduced the following resolution the title of which was read <br />and copies of which had been distributed to each Commissioner: <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION AND DELIVERY OF <br />A FINANCING AGREEMENT AND DEED OF TRUST AND RELATED <br />DOCUMENTS IN CONNECTION WITH THE FINANCING OF PUBLIC <br />SCHOOL IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE COUNTY OF LEE, NORTH <br />CAROLINA , <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners (the `Board`) for the County of Lee, <br />North Carolina (the "County "): <br />Section 1. The Board does hereby find and determine as follows: <br />(a) The Lee County Board of Education (the "Board of Education "), the governing board <br />of the Lee County local school administrative unit, has determined that a need exists to renovate <br />and improve existing facilities and construct and equip an addition to Lee County High School <br />(the "Project ") and has requested the County to provide the financing therefor. <br />40 (b) The Project is hereby ratified and approved. <br />
