2010 - <br />• LEE COUNTY <br />aoot?© sao 050 <br />Committed Today for a Better Tomorrow <br />RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT <br />FOR <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT RC&D, INC. <br />WHEREAS, Environmental Impact RC &D, Inc. is a local non - profit tax exempt charity serving Anson, <br />Lee, Montgomery, Moore, and Richmond counties; and <br />WHEREAS, Environmental Impact RC &D, Inc. has a mission to promote environmental quality and <br />conservation while working to ensure sustained economic development; and <br />WHEREAS, Environmental Impact RC &D, Inc. has completed over 250 projects over a 32 year period <br />benefitting the citizens in the five - county service area; and <br />WHEREAS, Environmental Impact RC &D, Inc. is committed to continuing to serve the citizens in the <br />five - county service area; and <br />WHEREAS, All programs and services of Environmental Impact RC &D, Inc. are offered on a non- <br />discriminatory basis, without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, <br />marital or family status, disability or political beliefs. <br />BE IT RESOLVED that we, the Lee County Board of Commissioners, support Environmental Impact <br />RC &D, Inc. and the work this organization does to make our communities better places in which to live <br />and work. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be spread upon the Minutes of the Lee County Board <br />of Commissioners' January 4, 2010, meeting as a permanent record of the achievements of <br />Environmental Impact RC &D, Inc. <br />Adopted this 4 day of January 2010. <br />ATTEST: <br />Gaynell M.
