2005 - � <br />• A RESOLUTION FOR THE ADOPTION OF THE LEE COUNTY <br />HAZARD MITIGATIONPLANBY THE LEE COUNTY BOARD OF <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />WHEREAS Lee County, including the City of Sanford and the Town of Broadway has <br />experienced the effects of natural and man -made hazard events; and <br />WHEREAS the Lee County, Sanford, Broadway Hazard Mitigation Project Committee <br />has prepared a recommended Lee County Hazard Miligotion Plan; and <br />WHEREAS the recommended Lee County Hazard Mitigation Plan has been advertised <br />for review by citizens, business organizations, and professional organizations of the <br />unincorporated and incorporated areas of Lee County, City of Sanford, and Town of <br />Broadway, as well as State, Federal government agencies and has been supported by <br />those reviewers; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT, <br />I. The Lee County Hazard Mitigation Plan is hereby adopted as an official plan of the <br />County of Lee. <br />2. The Lee County, Sanford, Broadway Hazard Mitigation Project Committee is <br />recognized as a continuing entity charged with reviewing, maintaining in accordance <br />with Community Rating System requirements, and periodically reporting on the <br />progress towards and revisions to the plan to each entity of local government. <br />Effective this 2 v Day of 2005 <br />Herbert A.
