APPROVAL OF CONSENT AGENDA <br />The Board considered changes to the Consent Agenda. Commissioner Sharpe moved to <br />approve the Consent Agenda as presented, which consisted of the following items: <br />A. Minutes from the August 20, 2018 Regular Meeting. <br />B. Minutes from the August 27, 2018 Closed Session Meeting. <br />C. Tax release and refund report for August 2018. <br />D. Request for approval of Senior Health Insurance Information Program Outreach Grant <br />proposal. <br />E. Request for approval of Senior Center General Purpose Grant application for FY 2019. <br />F. Request for approval of Rural Operating Assistance Program Grant Application for COLTS <br />for FY 2019. <br />G. Request for approval of use of Medicaid Cost Settlement Funds to cover the increase of a <br />Public Health Nurse I position to a Public Health Nurse II position. <br />H. Request to allow Environmental health to pursue additional grant funding from the <br />Association of Food and Drug Officials Year 6 Retail Program Standards Grant. <br />I. Resolution to add Lark Lane to the NC DOT road system. <br />J. Request for approval to change fee for library card replacement. <br />K. Request for approval of Forte contract for debit/credit card payment for Parks and <br />Recreation programs. <br />L. Budget Amendment # 09/17/18/03. <br />M. Consideration of a second upset bid for the purchase of surplus property located on Lemon <br />Springs Road, PIN 9549-17-7784-00. <br />N. Request for approval of bid for the addition and installation of a bag-in/bag-out exhaust <br />system room at the Lee County Health Department. <br />O. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />A. Public hearing on the Community Transportation Program FY 2020 grant application <br />Senior Services Director Debbie Davidson provided information regarding the Community <br />Transportation Program Grant Application for 2020. Senior Services is requesting $216,260.00 <br />for administrative expenses with a 15% local match of $32,439.00. These funds cover 85% of <br />the salary for the County of Lee Transit System Coordinator, and a portion of the administrative <br />salaries of 3 other staff members and benefits, travel, general office supplies, space rental, <br />technology supplies, and indirect cost or the administration of the system.
