Mr. Shawn Williams, Chairman of the Lee County Board of Education discussed with the Board a request submitted by the Board of Commissioners for budget information. After discussion, Mr. Williams stated that he and School Superintendent Jeff Moss would be glad to sit down with Commissioners Shook, Parks and Womack to discuss items they feel the Board of Education did not respond to in their written request. Upon a vote of Commissioner Hayes' motion, the results were as follows: Aye: Hayes, Oldham, Paschal, and Reives Nay: Parks, Shook, and Womack The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted by a 4 to 3 vote. Commissioner Womack moved to increase hours for the VA Officer located at Senior Services to 40 -hours per week.
