Minter, Finance Director <br />REQUEST: Approval of Budget Amendment #05/19/08/#24 <br />SUMMARY: Budget Amendment #05/19/08/#24 appropriates funds for the <br />following departments: <br />Inspections - Per the County's contract with the City of Sanford for Inspection services, we must <br />cover 50% of any revenue shortfall over expenditures. For FY 2007-08, it is anticipated the <br />shortfall will cost the County $57,463. <br />State Services - Additional funds are being appropriated for Juvenile Detention due to the <br />increased number of Lee County juveniles in detention centers. <br />Tramway Road Project - $17,400 has been received from local Rotary Clubs to construct a <br />shelter at the observation deck by the pond at Tramway Road Park. <br />Other Funds - Adjustments are being made to cover shortfalls in line items in other budgets and <br />to adjust some capital projects so the projects can be closed out.
