E. <br />_ Information <br />Meeting Date: April 21, 2008 -Action Item <br />XX Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT: Acceptance of Medicaid Random Moment in Time Study Funds <br />DEPARTMENT: Health Department <br />CONTACT PERSON: Mike Hanes, Health Director <br />REQUEST: Acceptance of $4,266 in Medicaid Random Moment in Time study <br />funds <br />SUMMARY: The NC State Division of Health Services contracts with a private <br />firm to study the amount of time local public health spends providing <br />services to Medicaid eligible patients. From this study cost <br />adjustments are determined and the proportional allotment is <br />distributed back to local agencies. The acceptance of these funds <br />has been approved by the Lee County Board of Health.
