052 <br />GXHIBIT "A" <br />11 <br />"Hazardous Waste" shall mean solid wastes defined as hazardous under they Resource <br />Conservation and Recovery Act, 42 U.S.C§ 1002, et seq., or regulated as toxic under the <br />Toxic Substances Control Act, 15 U.S.C- §2601 et sey_, regulations promulgated <br />thereunder or applicable stale law concerning the regulation of hazardous or toxic <br />wastes_ <br />"Special waste" means ally discarded material from a non-residential source meeting <br />any of the following descriptions: <br />a. Containerized waste (eg,., a drum, portable tank, lugger box, roll-ofl box, pall, <br />bulk tanker, etc.) listed in b. - g. below. <br />b. Waste containing free liquids. <br />c. Sludge waste. <br />cl. Waste from an industrial process. <br />C. Waste from a pollution control process. <br />I. Residue from a spill of a nun-hazardous chemical substance or commercial <br />product or waste listed in a - c. or g. <br />g. Contaminated non-hazardous residuals from the cleanup of a facility <br />generating, storing, treating, recycling or disposing of wastes, chemical <br />substances or commercial products listed in a - I. <br />• <br />9 <br />
