A. <br />XX Information <br />Meeting Date: February 18. 2008 Action Item <br />Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT: Davenport & Company Financial Report <br />DEPARTMENT: Finance <br />CONTACT PERSON: Lisa Minter, Ted Cole, Bob High <br />REQUEST: Review Financial Report from Davenport & Company <br />SUMMARY: Based on questions from Commissioners and members of the <br />Finance Committee, staff asked Davenport & Company to develop a <br />report that shows the effects of the '/-cent sales tax on the Lee <br />County's ability to borrow money for future Capital Projects. The <br />report takes many issues into consideration such as Lottery and <br />ADM revenues: property tax increases and decreases, and what <br />future borrowing capacity the County may have with the sales tax <br />revenue.
