Minter, Finance Director <br />REQUEST. Approval of Budget Amendment #01/22/08/14 <br />SUMMARY Budget Amendment #01/22/08/14 appropriates funds for the following <br />• departments <br />Social Services - Social Services has received an additional crisis intervention allocation of $63,894. No <br />County funds are needed for this allocation. These funds are used to provide assistance to families that are <br />in a heating or cooling crisis. <br />Register of Deeds - Register of Deeds Mollie McInnis is asking to use $11,961 from the State mandated <br />Automation Fund to purchase a scanner to scan plats and to purchase additional cash drawers so each <br />employee has their own drawer as recommended by the County's auditor. <br />IT - IT's capital is being increased by $13,513 to reflect the rebates received from HP for some old <br />equipment that are being applied to new switches needed for the VoIP system that is being installed. <br />Commissioners - $10,820 is being rolled over from FY 2006-07 to cover the cost of the Lee County <br />Centennial Celebration The funds were approved by the Board of Commissioners in the prior year, but due <br />to the timing of the celebration, the funds could not be disbursed in FY 2006-07. <br />NOTE: Supporting documents are available in the Clerk's Office for review <br />BUDGET IMPACT See above <br />ATTACHMENT(S): Budget Amendment #01 /22/08114 <br />PUBLIC HEARING.
