(or "NCAF" in 1997, in connection with her <br />generous gift of some 12.66 acres of land on Jonesboro-Tramway Road, Jonesboro Township. <br />That 12.88 acre tract, along with the Easement, was subsequently leased to Lee County pursuant <br />to an Amended Lease Agreement dated 1 April 1999 and recorded in Book 670, Page 203 (see <br />Exhibit A at ¶ 2)- <br />Fhus, as we discussed by phone, it will be necessary for both Lessor NCAF and Lessee <br />Lee County to join in the requested release and temlination of the Easement. Lessor NCAF <br />through its President, Keith D. Oakley, has already agreed to release the Easement. <br />In support of this request, note the Plat recorded in Plat Cabinet No. 8, Slide 92A, Lee <br />County Registry, shows, Lee County's 12.66-acre leasehold enjoys substantial road frontage on, <br />and access to, Jonesboro-Tramway Road even without the Easement that is the subject of this <br />request. Furthermore, we understand that the Easement is not in fact used. <br />As you further advised, this Easement-release request must first be considered and <br />approved by the Lee County Board of Conlmissioncrs, which next meets 22 January 2008. We <br />respectfully request that the release of the Easement be placed on that meeting agenda for the <br />Board's consideration and, hopefully, approval by due resolution. <br />0 <br />
