E. <br />_ Information <br />Meeting Date: January 7, 2008 Action Item <br />XX Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT: Amendment to Current Fee Schedule for Planning and Inspections <br />DEPARTMENT: Sanford-Lee County Community Development <br />CONTACT PERSON: Marshall Downey, Assistant Director of Community Development <br />REQUEST: Consider amending current fee schedule for Planning and <br />Inspections due to new third party review of telecommunications <br />towers. <br />SUMMARY: Fee schedule needs to be updated to reflect new $4,000.00 fee as <br />associated with third party consultant review of new applications for <br />special use permits for a new telecommunication towers. <br />BUDGET IMPACT: N/A <br />ATTACHMENT(S): Staff memo <br />PUBLIC HEARING: No <br />PRIOR BOARD ACTION: N/A <br />RECOMMENDATION: Concurrent with this request, the Commissioners have a request for <br />consideration of several amendments to the UDO as recommended <br />unanimously by the Planning Board. Included among those <br />amendments is an amendment to require that all applications for <br />special use permits for a new telecommunication towers be required <br />to be reviewed by an expert third party consultant. <br />
