D. <br />Information <br />Meeting Date: January 7, 2008 Action Item <br />);_Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT: Amendments to the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO), the <br />County's comprehensive set of land management and development <br />regulations. <br />DEPARTMENT: Sanford-Lee County Community Development <br />CONTACT PERSON: Marshall Downey, Assistant Director of Community Development <br />REQUEST: Consider adoption of seven (7) possible amendments to the UDO. <br />SUMMARY: The amendments, with the exception of Amendment #3 (third party <br />consultation), are corrective in nature and intended to simply update <br />and/or clarify existing policies within the LIDO. The amendments <br />were unanimously recommended for approval by the Lee County <br />Planning Board and the Joint Planning Commission. <br />BUDGET IMPACT: N/A <br />ATTACHMENT(S): (1) Staff report detailing proposed amendments. <br />(2) Ordinance Amending Lee County UDO <br />PUBLIC HEARING: Conducted on October 15, 2007 <br />PRIOR BOARD ACTION: N/A <br />RECOMMENDATION: The Joint Planning Commission (JPC) met on September 13, 2007, <br />to consider these amendments. The JPC unanimously <br />recommended that all seven amendments be forwarded to the three <br />jurisdictions for consideration of adoption. <br />
