Douglas Hoell, Jr., Director <br />EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PERFORMANCE GRANT (EMPG) <br />SUPPLEMENTAL GRANT AWARD <br />Grantee: LEE COUNTY OFFICE OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT EMPG Grant Award - 2007 <br />Federal ID Number: 56-6000313-A 2007 Supplemental EMPG Grant: $5,795.75 <br />Date of Award: See Page 2 - Effective Date Account 1510-512-2007, 50% Federal Funds <br />This agreement is hereby made between North Carolina Department of Crime Control and Public <br />Safety, Division of Emergency Management, hereinafter referred to as Grantor, and the: <br />LEE COUNTY OFFICE OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT <br />• <br />hereafter referred to as the Grantee. SANFORD NC 27331- <br />Scope of Services to be rendered. <br />1. This supplemental EMPG funding has been made available to enhance North Carolina's readiness <br />posture; therefore, you must use this funding for that purpose. The EMPG supplemental may not go in <br />to your county's general fund unless it is designated to become a line item for one of the identified <br />purposes in this grant agreement. <br />2. Homeland Secudly Presidential Directive - 5 requires NIMS compliance to receive federal <br />preparedness assistance funding. The FY 07 NIMS compliance metrics fact sheet states that Tier I <br />metrics must be answered in the affirmative to be NIMS compliant for FY 07. In addition, you must <br />complete specific tasks below by the designated deadlines in order to be eligible for this EMPG <br />supplemental funding: <br />Correct deficiencies in FY 2007 NIMS Compliance Tier 1 Metrics by January 15, 2008, see <br />attachment: Rollup Corrective Action Plan, if applicable; <br />Complete and roll up the NIMSCAST FY 2007 NIMS Compliance Metrics to show you have <br />corrected deficiencies identified in your Corrective Action Plan by January 22, 2008. An <br />attachment is included in this packet outlining your Corrective Action Plan, if applicable. You <br />may need to revise some target dates to meet the January 22, 2008 deadline. <br />3.
