B. <br />Information <br />Meeting Date: October 1, 2007 XX Action Item <br />- Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT: Recommendation from the Planning Board <br />DEPARTMENT: Sanford-Lee County Community Development <br />CONTACT PERSON: Marshall Downey, Assistant Director of Community Development <br />REQUEST: Consider recommendation from the Planning Board and make final <br />® decision on rezoning request. <br />SUMMARY: Application No. 2007-0901 submitted by Mr. Tony Blakeley to <br />rezone from Residential Restricted (RR) district to Residential Agricultural (RA) district two lots <br />located on Cedar Lane Road. The lots are the same as depicted on Lee County Tax Map 9528, <br />Lee Tax parcels 9528-95-4979 and 9528-95-6935, and further described as Lot 10 and Lot 11 of <br />Deer Run Subdivision, recorded in Plat Cabinet 7, Slide 1000, Lee County Register of Deeds. <br />The Planning Board, by a unanimous vote, recommends the Board of Commissioners approve <br />the application to rezone the above-referenced property. <br />BUDGET IMPACT: N/A <br />ATTACHMENT(S): (1) Recommendation of the Planning Board; (2) Zoning Map; and <br />(3) Ordinance to Amend the Official Zoning Map of Lee County <br />PUBLIC HEARING: No <br />PRIOR BOARD ACTION: On September 10, 2007, the Board of Commissioners and Planning <br />Board held a public hearing to consider Application No. 2007-0901. <br />At the public hearing, Mr. Scott Blakeley spoke in support of the request. No on present spoke in <br />opposition to the request. <br />0 RECOMMENDATION: Approve recommendation of Planning Board. <br />
