The Board agreed that the majority of the employees' <br />wishes should stand to keep the current plan. <br />Mr. Bob Joyce, Administrative Services Director, stated that Mr. <br />James Goins has offered $2,400.00 for property adjoining Woodland <br />Trails which is not needed by the County. The property is listed on <br />the Tax Records for $2,400.00. Commissioner Cox moved to declare this <br />property as surplus property. Commissioner Paschal seconded the <br />motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Hall, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford, and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Cox then moved to advertise in the local newspaper <br />for an upset bid of the current offer of $2,400.00 for the <br />aforementioned property. Commissioner Paschal seconded the motion, <br />and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Hall, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford, and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Cox moved that the meeting be adjourned until 9:00 <br />A.M. Monday, June 10, 1991, to reconvene in the Commissioner's Room of <br />the County Office Building, 200 Wicker Street, Sanford, North <br />Carolina.
