The Planning Board <br />also recommended that the approval of Mr. Hall's petition require <br />that he submit a detailed site plan of his "country store" and <br />laundrymat for approval by the Planning Board prior to beginning <br />construction. <br />4. Rezoning petition submitted by Joseph Weeks to rezone a <br />total of 43.11 acres of land located at 8725 Old E.C. Womack Road, a <br />private road which intersects with Buckhorn Road, from Residential <br />Agricultural District to Residential Mixed Conditional Use District <br />for the location of a manufactured home park. The Planning Board <br />recommended approval of the petition be contingent upon Mr. Weeks <br />providing the Lee County Planning Department with evidence that an <br />easement from Buckhorn Road to his property line is recorded at the <br />Lee County Register of Deeds. <br />5. Amend Article VIII. Dimensiona_1, Requ-i.rement.s., Section 1. <br />Table of..Area..._and Yard Requirements of The Zoning Ordinance,., of Lee, <br />County ,-,...North.......Carolina to change the front yard setback from 35 feet <br />from the right-of-way to 30 feet from the right-of-way in the <br />Residential Agricultural, Residential Mixed, and Residential <br />Restricted Districts, in order to comply with the existing <br />Subdivision ordinance regulations. <br />6. Final plat approval of Westbrooke Subdivision, Section III <br />a six-lot section of the subdivision which will be located along <br />approximately 800 feet of new street leading northward from <br />Westbrooke Drive. The Planning Board recommended that a letter of <br />credit in the amount of $39,000 ($16,500 to guarantee satisfactory <br />completion of the road, plus $22,500 to guarantee satisfactory <br />completion of the water line) be required. <br />7. Forward a petition to the NC Department of Transportation <br />from residents living along an approximate 430 feet section of Cotton <br />Road which extends westward from Cumnock Road, requesting that this <br />section of road be added to the State system for maintenance. <br />Commissioner Hall seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Hall, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford, and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board then considered the Planning Board's recommendation to <br />adopt the WAAG Corporation's petition to change 141.62 acres of land <br />located on the eastern side of Nicholson Road beginning at a point <br />approximately 550 feet north of the intersection of Nicholson Road <br />and Blacks Chapel Road from Residential Agricultural District to <br />6 <br />
