0 0 <br />BOOK 14 pm,~ 112 <br />Mr. Barefoot stated that the Planning Board unanimously <br />recommended that the Board of Commissioners approve Dowell Eakes' <br />petition to rezone a portion of a 13.02 acre tract of land located at <br />the northwest cornet- of the intersection of Eakes Road and Quail <br />Ridge Drive from Residential Restricted District to Residential <br />Agricultural Conditional Use District with the following conditions: <br />(1) The manufactured home must be placed on the lot precisely as <br />depicted on the site plan submitted by Mr. Eakes and approved by the <br />Planning Board. (2) When a nurse who is caring for the Eakes' mother <br />no longer resides in the manufactured home, the home will be <br />considered vacant and the manufactured home must be removed within <br />six months of the date the home was vacated. (3) When the Eakes' <br />mother no longer resides in her home, either upon her death or upon <br />her removal to a convalescent or nursing care facility, the <br />manufactured home must be removed from the property within six months <br />of the date the Eakes' mother left her home. He stated that the <br />Planning Board in its deliberation cited the fact. that the <br />manufactured home will not be placed on the property permanently and <br />that the manufactured home in the proposed location is not readily <br />visible from the Quail Ridge property. He stated that the Planning <br />Board also cited the obvious need for the Eakes' to provide for the <br />care of their ailing mother. Commissioner- Wicker moved to adopt the <br />Planning Board's recommendation to grant the request conditionally. <br />Commissioner Hall seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Hall, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford, and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Mr. Barefoot stated that the Planning Board unanimously <br />recommended that the Board of Commissioners approve the final <br />subdivision plat of The Pines at Beaver Creek Subdivision, which is <br />being developed by WAAG Corporation. He stated that the seventeen <br />subdivision lots front on Nicholson Road and will be served by <br />individual wells and septic systems. Following a discussion <br />concerning the preliminary plat approval, Commissioner Hall moved to <br />adopt the Planning Board's recommendation to approve the request. <br />Commissioner Reives seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Hall, Reives, Stafford, and Wicker <br />Nay: Matthews and Paschal <br />vote. <br />The chairman ruled the motion had been adopted by a four to two <br />Mr. Barefoot stated that the Planning Board unanimously <br />recommended that the Board of Commissioners approve the preliminary <br />subdivision plat of Hunters Ridge Subdivision, Section IV. He stated <br />that the sixteen subdivision lots front on Hunters Ridge Road, a <br />private road which intersects Sheriff Watson Road. He stated also <br />5 <br />
