Director of Youth Services, to the Board. Mr. Edwards spoke briefly <br />to the Board about his plans and expectations for Youth Services. <br />The Board then considered creating an additional position on the <br />Youth Services Commission as recommended by past Interim Director of <br />Youth Services Beatrice Fields. Commissioner Matthews moved to <br />create another position on the Commission and to appoint Mr. Tommy <br />Mullis, a juvenile probation officer, to fill the position. <br />Commissioner- Cox seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Hall, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford, and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered an appointment to fill a vacancy on the <br />Department of Social Services' Community Child Protection Team. <br />Commissioner Cox moved to appoint Mrs. Beatrice Fields to fill the <br />vacancy. Commissioner Hall seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Hall, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford, and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Chairman Stafford recognized Mr. Nathan Crissman, Tax <br />Administrator, who requested that the Board consider a contract with <br />Transworld Systems, Inc. in the amount of $1,000 to collect <br />delinquent ambulance bills. After a brief discussion, commissioner <br />Hall moved to grant the request as submitted, stipulating that the <br />accounts be prioritized chronologically. Commissioner Wicker <br />seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Hall, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford, and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />tov U -,Itl 185 <br />The Chairman recognized Mr. Bobby Johnson, Director of Public <br />Works, who presented the following offers to purchase a front-load <br />refuse truck, whose overall condition is poor: <br />Bidder <br />Address <br />Amount. <br />nodal-South, Inc <br />Jerry W.
